Dr. Fagan received her PhD in Developmental Psychology Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University. Dr. Fagan has a Masters of Arts from The City College of the City University of New York and a Masters of Science in Education from Bank Street College of Education in New York City. At Bank Street College of Education she completed training as a elementary education teacher and is licensed K-5 in New York State (inactive). Dr. Fagan received her bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts from the University of New Hampshire. In 2012 she completed post-doctoral training in School Neuropsychology and was admitted as a Diplomate to the American Board of School Neuropsychology.
Licensure and Experience
Dr. Fagan is licensed as a psychologist in New Jersey and New York. She has worked in a variety of hospital settings including the child abuse program at Columbia Presbyterian (Babies Hospital) Hospital, with adolescent mothers and their infants and toddlers at the University of Medicine and Dentistry, Newark, with a pediatric HIV population, in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with premature infants, and as director of Early Intervention at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in the Bronx NY and most recently at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ completing psychoeducational evaluations.
Over the last 12 years at DC Fagan Psychological Services, LLC, Dr. Fagan has worked as an independent consultant and evaluator for numerous community and private mental health centers as well as for many Bergan, Essex, Passaic, and Sussex school districts. In addition, Dr. Fagan is actively involved in current research looking at learning and ADHD medication. Dr. Fagan currently provides clinical supervisor of PhD students who are preparing for licensure, and has been an adjunct professor of psychology at Ramapo College of New Jersey for the last 17 years.
